We’re looking for a Mechanical Engineer with a focus on HVAC design and a working knowledge of plumbing systems. You’ll play a key role in designing energy-efficient mechanical systems for high-performance buildings — from mission-critical data centers to cutting-edge commercial spaces. Whether you're early in your career or a seasoned design lead, this role offers the opportunity to work on projects that demand precision and creativity in equal measure.
What You’ll Do:
- Develop HVAC system designs, equipment selections, and duct layouts using tools like Revit and AutoCAD
- Coordinate mechanical designs with architectural and other engineering disciplines
- Provide input on plumbing layouts and specifications when required
- Perform load calculations, code compliance checks, and system sizing
- Support site visits, inspections, and clash detection sessions using BIM workflows
- Contribute to design reviews and client presentations with confidence and technical clarity
What You Bring:
- A degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
- Hands-on experience in HVAC system design; plumbing design is a bonus
- Proficiency in Revit and AutoCAD; understanding of BIM coordination
- Familiarity with ASHRAE standards and local building codes
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Enthusiasm for working in a collaborative, cross-functional team environment
Nice to Have:
- Experience with mission-critical environments (data centers, labs, etc.)
- Working knowledge of CFD analysis or energy modeling software
- Professional licensure (or working toward PE)
